Funded by people who care.

Bales of Mercy is a registered non-profit in Lagos, home to over 120 children. We’re funded almost entirely by individual donors and monthly sponsors — which is exactly why we account for every naira in public.

What percentage of my gift reaches the children?
Over 90%. We keep administration under 10% by design, so the vast majority of every donation goes directly to care, food, education and health.
Are your accounts audited?
Yes. Our books are reviewed by an external auditor each year, and the audited statement is published on this page.
Can I get a receipt for my donation?
Always. Every gift — one-time or monthly — is acknowledged with a receipt you can keep for your records.
How do I give by bank transfer?
Use the bank details on our Donate page, then email your teller to info@balesofmercy.com and we’ll send a receipt.
