Our new dining hall is open

For years, mealtimes meant taking turns. Our old kitchen could only serve a few dozen children at a time, so the youngest ate first and the oldest often ate cold.

This month, that changed. Thanks to donors who gave toward the build, all 124 children now sit down together for three warm meals a day in a bright, purpose-built dining hall.

It is more than logistics. Eating together is how a family becomes a family — and for the first time, ours can.
