Amaka had always loved learning, but she dreaded the walk to school. Without a proper uniform, she stood out — and a child who feels different finds it hard to raise her hand.

When a sponsor covered her uniform, shoes and a bag, something shifted. She walked in with her head high. Her teachers noticed first; her grades followed.
